To memorize Hiragana

To learn hiragana, you basically have to memorize and then start reading children books because they are written solely in hiragana.

Sometime ago i memorized all the hiragana, but in the meantime i forgot almost everything. But using the book "Remembering the kana: The hiragana" from James W. Heisig it's not only easier to memorize, it's also faster, because it uses mnemonics.
During this post, in just 1 day, i already memorized effectively 2/3 of the hiragana. And decided to leave the rest for the next day so that it will be really stucked on my memory and not confusing anything. I also tested by now , all the hiragana i studied, using anki. Tomorrow i'll do the same.

I'm going to leave you a download link to this book, but i hope you buy it, because it's really cheap (about $15 US/15€) and it really works. The second part of this book is katakana
